Erg-a-Thon

As a dedicated LGBT+ organization, Chicago Rowing Union wants to ensure that all people in the Chicagoland-area who identify at LGBT+ or as an ally have the opportunity to experience the amazing sport of rowing. To make rowing safe, affordable, and accessible to as many Chicagoland-area LGBT+ community members as possible we’re raising money to support CRU’s Rower Assistance program, our equipment maintenance & replacement fund, and the general operational expenses. This fundraiser leads up to our annual Erg-a-Thon, an event where CRU hosts a fabulous party and will collectively row as many non-stop meters as time allows. That’s how dedicated we are to adhering to the tenets of our Mission Statement!

Please help more people get on the water so they can start making their own rowing memories! By supporting CRU, you ensure more Chicagoland-area LGBT+ community members and allies can join a team that emphasizes teamwork, personal accomplishments, fitness, and friendship, all in an inclusive and welcoming space that encourages every single member to be who they are.
